In its capacity as a vital mechanism for managing the quality of life of local residents, the Mueang Khom Sub-district Administrative Organization (SAO) has tangibly demonstrated its commitment to facilitating healthcare access for both residents and insured persons. Under the leadership of Mr. Nanthawat Insuk, the Chief Executive of Mueang Khom SAO, the organization initiated an important project to resolve the challenge of accessing dental services for insured persons within the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, February 24, 2023, the Mueang Khom SAO supported the use of the premises at the SAO office as a central hub for the Mobile Dental Clinic service. This project was made possible through close collaboration and service coordination by Ms. Tippapha Saengtharathip (S.J. Tippapha), Member of the Lopburi Provincial Administrative Organization Council, District 4, Chai Badan District, who recognized the necessity of bringing healthcare services directly to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of this event was to provide services to insured persons eligible for the 900 Baht Social Security dental benefit. The primary target groups were insured persons under Section 33 and Section 39 residing in the Mueang Khom sub-district area, as well as interested general residents. A key feature of this service was that insured persons could utilize their rights without having to pay in advance, effectively removing a significant financial and procedural barrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative underscores the value of the Mobile Dental Clinic model, which can transform a government premise into a temporary, standardized health service center. It facilitates access for insured persons who would otherwise spend time and money traveling to medical facilities in urban areas, enabling them to access the Social Security benefits they are entitled to right in their local area. This collaboration between the Sub-district Administrative Organization and the mobile dental service unit serves as a vital blueprint, showcasing the potential of local administration to genuinely enhance the quality of life and accessibility to public welfare for residents in rural and remote areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
